OUR BEGINNING

Just exactly why is how the Soul Seekers Brotherhood came to be, so important?

So that we as brothers, and founders, never forget the reason.

And this shall serve as a means of passing our history down to our new brothers and so shall they pass it down to theirs.

This is not for the glory or praise of any one individual. In fact, you could say it was that type of glory-hogging, self back patting that helped fuel the fire in the months and days before our beginning.

Before our brotherhood came to be, the founding fathers had already become brothers in a riders club called IMRC. Because of the bond they had developed, each of them stayed in place, struggling with what was going on around them in that club. Each of them had been trying to look at the bigger picture, while not turning a blind eye to the tyranny. They continued to do good things, held on to what they believed in, and tried to use the laws given to them to affect change that would make the club flourish and bring it back to a true and right course. Their efforts had been in vain, the ‘founder’ of that club would change the laws as quickly as they tried to use them to set that steady course. Each of them in their own way struggled with the knowledge that the founder and leader had undermined any type of order they tried to set forth. Each of them attempted to give due respect to a “brother” & “leader” that had lost their respect and brotherly love, due to his actions. Preaching the ideology of brotherhood, but not practicing it. “A brother never questions a brother” was his philosophy.

Finally, on the heels of a particular unfortunate incident, one of the founders of our brotherhood couldn’t take anymore. He put out a cry for his brothers to stand up against the tyranny, risking possible exile and the loss of his brothers. That cry was heard, and those brothers shined through with their brotherly love and stood together, rising up against that which they knew was wrong. The IMRC toppled, and gave way to a new beginning… the Soul Seekers Brotherhood.
